Sanjay Mehrotra has conducted research in Stochastic and Discrete Optimization Algorithms, Decision Under Uncertainty, Financial Engineering, and Healthcare Systems.  He was honored to be named McCormick Advisor of the Year in 2007.  He also received the Certificate of Excellence from the IIE Editorial Board in 2004, as well as the George E. Nicholson Student Paper Award, Second Prize, INFORMS in 1986.
