Manager within the Supply Chain Applications Group at ILOG, an IBM Company. (http://www.ilog.com/products/supplychain/ and http://blogs.ilog.com/supplychainapps/)
This group is responsible for the LogicTools Suite of products. The products cover strategic network design and facility location, multi-site production sourcing, carbon modeling, inventory and flow path optimization, finite production scheduling and planning, and strategic transportation optimization and routing.
His group works with the following types of companies: CPG, Chemical, Retail, Wholesale and Distribution, Industrial and Automotive, Medical Equipment, Pharma and Bio-Tech, 3PL's, Consultants, and Operational Governmental Organizations (like the Postal Service and US Army).
Previously, he worked as a consultant for IBM where he spent a significant amount of time at General Motors helping implement plant-level improvements such as set-up time reduction, throughput improvement, reduction of equipment failures, and other lean manufacturing programs.

His current position is the result of 2 acquisitions. He started at LogicTools in 1998, helped to grow it from 5 people to 45, and helped sell the company to ILOG. ILOG was acquired by IBM in January 2009.
