35 Year Anniversary for Northwestern's MEM Program

On 02/13/14, MEM celebrated 35 years with the First Annual Industry Night, open to MEM faculty, students, alumni and industry sponsors. To highlight the event, famous author and speaker, Guy Kawasaki, spoke to a full auditorium on the topic of enchantment and how that ties into being a good leader.

The MEM Community Comes Out in Force for Industry Night Networking

The First Annual Industry Night kicked off with a networking event, connecting MEM students, faculty, alumni and industry leaders.

Networking Dinner Brings together Industry Sponsors and MEM Alumni and Students

Networking continued after the talk by Guy Kawasaki, as the MEM community and industry representatives enjoyed dinner in the Allen Center.

Industry Sponsors Receive Gifts of Appreciation from Director Werwath

MEM thanked the Industry Sponsors who made First Annual Industry Night possible. Motorola Mobility sponsored at the Purple level, HAVI Global Solutions the Gold and Hu-Fredy Mfg the Silver.

MEM Releases 2013-2014 Resume Books

MEM was pleased to unveil the new Resume Books at the First Annual Industry Night. These books highlight the full time students in the program and will be sent out to Industry partners.

New MEM Graduates

In early December, several MEM students, who are graduating at the end of Fall Quarter, joined the MEM Director and Associate Director for a celebratory lunch in Evanston. Those students who earned Certificates within the MEM program were awarded these at the luncheon.

Breaking Mobile Limits: Future of Mobile Technology

The evening of 11/21 was the kickoff for an MEM-Motorala planned innovation competition. The Motorola team presented to a packed room in Tech; after questions, students were able to examine the development kits that will be available to competing teams.

The MEMPC Alumni Network

On 11/13, alumni from MEM programs that make up the MEM Program Consortium (MEMPC), gathered regionally. The L.A. event, while comprised mostly of alumni from USC, was organized by a Northwestern MEM alum who now resides there. In Chicago, alumni gathered at the University Club.
